Brookdale California

Brookdale is a small community in the heart of northern California's San Lorenzo Valley.

The town is set amongst towering redwood and majestic oak trees. Recreational activities include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and more. Brookdale is home to the world famous Brookdale Lodge. The historic lodge has a stream running right through the middle of the great room, where diners can relax to the sounds of a babbling brook as they enjoy their meal. Big Basin State Park, with miles of trails through forested hills, is 12 miles to the north, and the ocean beaches of the Pacific are only 12 miles west of town.

Brookdale is situated 20 miles west of San Jose and 12 miles north of Santa Cruz where many residents do their shopping.
